The Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Migration (CHRM2) University of Jember still manages to keep its main objective as the excellent Centre for knowledge sharing. One of the milestones to gain this objective is the contract signature with SETARA Press for three books for publication in 2020. SETARA Press, represented by Abdurrahman Sofyan, the editor of the Publisher visited the Centre to offer the publication after he believes three books that were submitted by the Centre meet their academic standard for publication.
The first book is a monograph by title “Hak Asasi Manusia: Internasionalisme, Islamisme, Post-Kolonialisme dan Praktiknya di Indonesia” written by Al Khanif, the CHRM2 director while the second book is an edited book, titled “Hak Beragama atau Berkeyakinan di Indonesia, co-edited by Al Khanif and Dina Tsalist Wildana. The third book is an edited book by title “Hak Asasi Manusia: Politik, Hukum dan Agama di Indonesia, edited by Al Khanif and Manunggal Kusuma Wardaya, a senior lecturer at Faculty of Law, Jenderal Soedirman University and a member of Indonesian Consortium for Human Rights Lecturers (SEPAHAM) Indonesia.
These three books will complete the book collection by the Centre. Since the beginning, CHRM2 focused on research, advocacy and publication. So far, CHRM2 publishes Journal of Southeast Asian Human Rights (JSEAHR) https://jurnal.unej.ac.id/index.php/JSEAHR/. Right now, JSEAHR is the only international journal published by the University of Jember. Additionally, CHRM2 also publishes Lentera Hukum, a journal that focuses on articles on legal issues https://jurnal.unej.ac.id/index.php/eJLH/. For academia interested to submit their articles on legal or human rights issues, please do submit them in one of the journals.
