The Centre specialises in human rights, multiculturalism, and migration. We aim to advance multidisciplinary studies at the University of Jember, and contribute to global conversations.

CHRM2 aims to develop multidisciplinary studies, specialising in human rights, multiculturalism, and migration.

Our staff comprises faculties and researchers from different schools and they actively produce academic works. We also attract the collaboration of internationally prominent scholars and practitioners.

The Creation of The Journal on Human Rights Involved Extensive Research, Collaboration, and Commitment.

These journals have been readily embraced by academics and students all over the world due to their global outlook and focus on contemporary human rights issues.

The establishment of CHRM2 is part of the University of Jember’s strategic centres to promote research and collaboration in the specialised areas of human rights within Southeast Asia with cognate disciplines. The Centre’s vision is to boost the strength of the University of Jember to become a leading, global university centred in Southeast Asia.

What is the objective?

In an era where corporate social responsibility is paramount, companies worldwide are recognising the need to integrate human rights principles into their business practices. Our Human Rights Training Consultancy plays a crucial role in guiding organisations to align their operations with ethical standards and international human rights frameworks. This consultancy aims to empower companies with the knowledge and tools necessary to create a workplace culture that respects and upholds human rights for all.
