
Skylar Strudwick (Research Fellow) is a research fellow at the Centre, where her work centers on human rights and conflict, drawing on a background that spans legal research, migration policy, and civil society dialogue. She completed her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology of Law, Crime, and Justice at the University of Minnesota, where she researched with the Human Rights Program, Public Health Department, and under the Director of the Psychology Department. Her experience ranges from a judicial internship with the Minnesota Judicial Branch and a legal internship with the London Borough of Newham to political campaigns and pluralism initiatives, including BridgeUMN, the Policy and Rights Lab, and Divided Dialogues. She is interested in conflict resolution, animal and human welfare, and international humanitarian policy. While in Indonesia, she studies structural violence and conflict in SE Asia.
