As part of our commitment to developing and understanding human rights, the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) University of Jember, together with Sydney Southeast Asia Centre at the University of Sydney, School of Law of the Universitas Airlangga, Komnas HAM, Indonesian Scholar Network on Freedom of Religion or Belief (ISFORB), and the Indonesian Consortium for Human Rights Lecturers (SEPAHAM) Indonesia organize the 8th Conference on Human Rights entitled “Protecting human rights in Asia amid energy transition, technological disruption and democratic regression” from 11 to 13 August 2025. The Conference provides a platform for academics, human rights activists and practitioners to explore current human rights issues in Southeast Asia and beyond.
