Peace, security, and environmental justice in Asia: Advancing human dignity for sustainable futures

As part of our commitment to developing and understanding human rights, the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) University of Jember, together with Faculty of Law of the Universitas Sebelas Maret, Sydney Southeast Asia Centre at the University of Sydney, National Commission of Human Rights (KOMNAS HAM), Indonesian Scholar Network on Freedom of Religion or Belief (ISFORB), and the Indonesian Consortium for Human Rights Lecturers (SEPAHAM) Indonesia organize the 9th Conference on Human Rights entitled “Peace, security, and environmental justice in Asia: Advancing human dignity for sustainable futures” from 10 to 12 August 2025. The Conference provides a platform for academics, human rights activists and practitioners to explore current human rights issues in Southeast Asia and beyond.
