Sarmilah (Research Assistant) is a research assistant at the Centre, where her work focused on human rights, agrarian law, and socio-legal governance. She completed her Bachelor of Law in the Faculty of Law, University of Jember. Since joining the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) in 2023, she has contributed to various research projects, international human rights programs. Her experience ranges from a legal internship in Kejaksaan Negeri Jember, Legal Affairs Division, Jember Regency Secretariat, and Badan Pertanahan nasional, Jember Regency. These experiences broadened her perspective beyond human rights by providing practical exposure to public service delivery, dispute resolution, and public policy formulation.
