Lentera Hukum is pleased to open for new submissions. The Journal invites researchers, academicians, practitioners, and policymakers to showcase an intimate knowledge in the field of law and cognate disciplines. Interdisciplinary approach is strongly encouraged to the submission.


LENTERA HUKUM is a scholarly forum which publishes works from researchers, academicians, practitioners, and policymakers, specifically in the field of law and cognate disciplines. Interdisciplinary approaches are strongly encouraged to the submission. The objective of the Journal is to enhance communication between researchers and policymakers with the critical understanding and research on the recent development of law and to promote the development of the newly cultivated research fields related to legal issues. The publication in the Journal lays an emphasis on works at the cutting edge of legal conversation which have not been published everywhere. Articles discuss contemporary legal conversations in theoretical, empirical, socio-legal, doctrinal, and comparative studies which are not limited to Indonesian law, but international law, comparative law or law of specific jurisdictions. The Journal will review manuscripts which should be 7,000-15,000 words (Articles), 3,000-7,000 words (Case Comments), and 1,000-2,000 words (Book Reviews). All articles published in this Journal are processed under a blind peer-review of the editorial board. The board and reviewers are legal scholars with specific expertise in accordance with the main focus of this Journal. The peer-reviewed process and decision on the publication of manuscripts will normally be completed within three months since the day of submitting papers.
