Stanford Class of 2018 | Class President August 2014-June 2018
❖ Served the Stanford Class of 2018 as Senior Class President (2017- 2018), Junior Class President (2016-2017), Sophomore Class President (2015-2016), and Freshman Council President (2014-2015)
❖ Represented and voiced the concerns of the Class of 2018 ranging by creating community service opportunities, mental health programs, career support, and social gatherings
❖ Worked in unison with major university partners such as the Stanford Alumni Association, The Stanford Fund, Stanford Career Education Center, and The Haas Center for Public Service ❖ Managed budgets, on average, of $35,000 for events catering to a 1,500 student pool with co-presidents and cabinet of 20 students

American Middle Eastern Network for Dialogue at Stanford (AMENDS) | Director of Global Engagement September 2015-June 2018
❖ Facilitated a global platform for promising youth leaders working from across the Middle East, North Africa and the United States by organizing a weeklong conference at Stanford University which brings at least 2 delegates from every Middle Eastern country
❖ Connected yearly AMENDS delegates to an AMENDS alumni network comprised of over 200 past delegates from around the world
❖ Worked with a team of 20 students and managed a budget of $30,000 and acquired $20,000 of funding from campus partners like the Freeman Spogli Institute at Stanford and ORASCOM located in Cairo, Egypt ❖ In light of travel restrictions, successfully moved 2017 and 2018 Delegate Conference to Oxford University in coordination with Stanford at Oxford Campus and Stanford Freeman Spogli Institute

Orange County Public Defender | Westminster, California | Law Clerk December 2018 – May 2019

❖ Clerkship under Assistant Public Defender Scott Sanders at the West Court Office Branch.
❖Provide legal support including document and evidence analysis, motion and brief editing, case law research, and project management. Content areas include police brutality and DA Office and Sheriff Department oversight.

Grantmakers Concerned With Immigrants and Refugees (GCIR) | Los Altos, California | Philanthropy Fellow July 2018 – August 2018

❖ Report to Director of Programs on initiatives engaging GCIR’s 140+ philanthropy members
❖ Represent GCIR on joint-programming and webinars related to current immigration crises in the United States including issues related to families separated at the border, criminal justice reform focused on immigrants, and refugee/immigrant lead integration efforts ❖ Created foundation for a joint working group committed to formulating strategies to act at the nexus of immigration and criminal justice; compiled database on 20+ grassroots organizations, legal advocacy groups, research institutions to establish steering committee and action plan

Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) | New York, New York | Legal Services Intern June 2017 – August 2017 
❖ Conducted legal intakes with individuals who have endured civil rights based discriminations.
❖ In cases of anticipated abuse from government agencies, submitted FOIA, FOIL, and CAARP requests
❖ Drafted memos related to Islamophobic based hate crimes and New York City based legislation ranging from housing, immigration, and ICE enforcement

Drapen I Havet, A Drop in the Ocean | Athens, Greece | Lead Activities Coordinator June 2016 – August 2016
❖ Taught English to an Arabic speaking class of 30 in the morning and oversaw children’s activities in the evening to 1,500 children in a camp of 3,000
❖ Conducted brief volunteer coordination meetings with more than 50 shorter term (2 weeks or less) international volunteers
❖ Coordinated programming and services with organizations like the Hellenic Navy, Spanish Red Cross, The Danish Refugee Council, International Rescue Committee, and Save the Children
