
Sylvie Antal (Research Fellow) graduated from the University of Michigan School of Information with a B.S. in Information Science and a M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction. She was awarded a 2024–2025 English Teaching Assistantship to Bulgaria through the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Program, where she taught English and media literacy at a Bulgarian high school and organized language and cultural exchange events within the community. Previously, Sylvie worked as a Policy Associate at the Portulans Institute, supporting research and strategic communications on digital transformation and ICT policy. At the Centre, her research focuses on analyzing Indonesia’s digital divide through a holistic, human rights–based lens and evaluating the effectiveness of national digital transformation policies and programs.
