CHRM2

My time at the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism and Migration can be best described as welcoming, supportive and trusting. The Centre ensures that its fellows are brought under safe and quality care, and foster a working environment that is warm and inviting. Fellows are trusted in their competence as workers, as demonstrated in the time flexibility and independence allowed during working hours. The Centre cares deeply about its longterm relationships, and uses its resources to nurture its student associates’ academic and professional growth. In terms of tasks, copyediting and language training allowed me to refine certain skills while reflecting on the quality of my own writing. Learning from the content of the assigned articles was especially engaging in this work. For these reasons, CHRM2 is a suitable environment for an academic finding their footing in the Asian human rights field.
