As part of our commitment to developing and understanding human rights, the Centre for Human Rights, Multiculturalism, and Migration (CHRM2) University of Jember, together with Sydney Southeast Asia Centre at the University of Sydney, Brawijaya University, Komnas HAM, and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights are going to organize the 7th Conference on Human Rights entitled “Human Rights, Peace, and Innovation in Asia and the Pacific: A Synergistic Approach to Sustainable Societies”. The Conference provides a platform for academics, human rights activists and practitioners to explore current human rights issues in Southeast Asia and beyond.
This conference will take place on 28-29 August 2024 at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, Malang, Indonesia. All plenary and parallel/panel sessions will be in person.
The call for abstracts form is open until 31 January 2024. The committee provides conference grant for academic writing, accommodation, a return ticket, and publication for 15 best papers.
