On August 27, 2024, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, in collaboration with CHRM2 Universitas Jember, the University of Sydney, and Universitas Brawijaya, is hosting an Academic Writing Session as part of the 7th Conference on Human Rights. This year’s theme, “Human Rights, Peace, Innovation, and the Pacific: A Synergistic Approach to Sustainable Societies,” will be explored in-depth during this event at Universitas Brawijaya in Malang.

The session will feature distinguished speakers who are experts in the field of academic writing. Dr. Al Khanif, Director of CHRM2, will share insights based on his extensive experience. Dr. Elizabeth Rhoads, a researcher from the Centre for East and South-East Asian Studies at Lund University, Sweden, will provide a global perspective on research methodologies. Additionally, Dr. Harison Citrawan, a researcher from the National and Innovation Agency of Indonesia, will offer valuable insights into innovative research practices.

This is the second year of academic writing workshop after the succesful event in the last year conference in Universitas Gadjah Mada. CHRM2 as the initiator of the conference expects that this workshop can stimulate young scholars to do research and publish academic papers on human rights.

This event promises to be a significant opportunity for scholars and practitioners to engage with cutting-edge ideas and methodologies in human rights research.
